Restorative Yoga
Learn to release and rest deeply and completely
The beauty in restorative yoga is that there is no muscular contraction involved. We believe we have to “work” to increase flexibility, but often we achieve more opening in parts of the body that we perceive as tight by softening and relaxing than through an active asana practice. During a restorative Yoga sequence, you still stretch, but you relax fully in the stretch so that tension can slowly be released.
Because the body and mind relax, literally becoming softer, we also create space to get in touch again with our natural qualities of compassion and understanding of others and self. A restorative yoga practice enables internal healing processes, boosts the immune system and helps those who struggle sleeping.

A Life of Balance
About Me
I began my spiritual journey learning buddhist principles when I was 15. My Nana introduced me to a local group of Soka Gakkai Buddhists. One of their goals was teaching individuals how to empower positive global change thru chanting and community. They work intimately with the lotus sutra and the work of Nichiren Daishonin. From here, it was just a matter of time before yoga found me. Just 3 years later, I began the study and practice of yoga in college.
My love for the practice grew and eventually became more dedicated and serious. I flew to Hawaii for my Yoga teacher training with Yandara Yoga. Alison Eaton and Craig Perkins were absolutely amazing teachers. They helped me realize and celebrate my unique abilities as a channel while fostering a deep love of Restorative and Yin yoga.
I officially became a certified and practicing Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner in 2016. I taught yoga for a couple years before we moved out into to the country.
Here, I spent a lot of time tending to myself and bonding with my family. In my spare time, I've been actively engaging in my own healing journey while taking courses online and teaching.

In 2017 I enrolled in Katherine Krueger's Journey of A Young Woman course. Learning the purpose of mentoring women and girls circles so that "every girl can thrive on their way to womanhood". She teaches many core principles of how to hold a safe container for the feminine.
In 2018, I began the very potent Deep Dive into Womb listening and Feminine Sovereignty practices with Jumana Sophia. She teaches an extraordinary nine month online mystery school. All about authentic women's empowerment and healing through spirituality that honors and deeply understands women. I am still spiraling with this lovely group of women today.

I mentored in a Birth assistant training program just before COVID and work closely with my sister on midwifery. I personally resonate with spiritual midwifery, both birth and death related. The English word midwife originally means: the woman who is "with the mother".
I currently have life insurance licenses in 7 states and help with end of life investments
A death doula provides emotional, physical, and spiritual support to individuals who are dying and their families. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life and facilitating a peaceful transition.
In 2025 I started a business to help Veteran's and their families with PTSD, Autism and Integrated Whole body Wellness.

Happy to announce EMVS: Emergency Medical Veteran's Services which will help individuals and families with autistic life coaching, integrated wellness and Transcendental Meditation.
I've had the pleasure to learn from Maharishi University (TM).

The foundation of my practice combines the physical with an inner emotional and spiritual journey. By integrating body, breath, truth, and meditative awareness, I strive to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in personal health and wellbeing. My intentions are to help pass on these deep feminine teachings to my local community.

Yin Yoga
Finding Balance and Release
Yin postures are mostly done on the mat and held anywhere from 2-5 minutes at a time, focusing on the release of myofascial tissue in the back and sacrum as well as the deep connections within the joints and attaching ligaments. Further, yin postures are useful for working the Chinese meridians throughout the body. As Dr Motoyama’s studies verify the flow of energy throughout the body, these subtle yoga poses work deeply in helping to unblock congested areas in our bodies.
Opposite from America’s ‘need for speed’ or quick results, Yin yoga’s slow approach with a focus on letting go and working with the breath can have a powerful affect on those who have a fast paced stressful lifestyle or a lot of trauma held in the body. The opening of the myofacial tissue ‘trains’, a term coined by Tom Meyers, can both bring up and release a lot of old holding patterns or the memory of a physical or emotional trauma.
With all this in mind, Yin is a great tool for slowing down the accumulated effects of stress and helps us by moving through our difficulties and challenges by looking and working inward rather than escaping outward through habitual distractions or outwardly expressive poses
